Helen Bellaver is an abstract painter located in San Jose, CA. She works in acrylic on large canvases, using subtle coloring to compliment her signature black foregrounds. Bellaver’s artistics practice has been lively and productive for over fity years in the Bay area.

Currently, Bellaver is working on a series of paintings in an abstract expressionist style, which will be subject of this solo show. Her earlier works can be seen in institutions, private collections and publications across the U.S.
